Taking Our Business Personally
Welcome to Imperial Landscape

Since 1986, Imperial Landscape has been transforming residential landscapes in prospering areas of Dallas such as Preston Hollow, North Dallas, Park Cities, and Highland Park. Our business has grown steadily through reputation and referrals, which speaks as much to the high quality of our work and as to the strength of our client relationships.
We treat our clients as our friends and partners. Forging and maintaining this connection is key to the way we do business. Only by working closely together, throughout the project, can we turn your landscape into the truest reflection of who you are, how you live, what you value. To that end we have kept our company big enough to handle large projects but small enough to be nimble and responsive, personal and personable. The person who initially presents your design will be the person you see throughout the job – and who remains accessible even after the project’s completion.
We see our work as a form of art and approach it, first and foremost, as artists. To us, each project is special and unique, a fresh canvas. We love finding new ways to delight our clients and exceed their expectations. This deep-rooted commitment has earned us our enviable reputation around town, several decades-long client relationships, countless word-of-mouth referrals, and perhaps best of all –– friendship.

Mark Mehdibegi

The founder of Imperial Landscape, Mark is a visionary artist who wants to make the world – or at least certain parts of Dallas – a more lush, more green, more beautiful place. He thinks about landscape design organically, focusing on the feeling, the sensory experience, the emotion evoked by the landscape. His approach is anything but typical – his first sketch of your design may be on a napkin. He’s also been known to present his concept directly on the lawn, enthusiastically wielding cans of spray paint to more vividly demonstrate his ideas.
His nontraditional ways may stem from his nontraditional start in the industry. It was while he was working toward his Mechanical Engineering degree that Mark took a few Landscape Architecture classes. It was love at first planting.
He built Imperial Landscape from the ground up, literally and figuratively. He has grown and shaped the company as carefully as each landscape, adding only the employees who share his commitment to exceptional client service. Hands-on since day one, Mark invests himself completely in each and every project. He involves the clients at the start of the project and works closely with them throughout its duration.
Cameron Mehdibegi

In this case especially, the apple fell very close to the tree. Mark and Katherine’s son Cameron started his career with Imperial Landscape pretty early. He worked alongside his dad for years, growing with the company, until he left for college at University of Texas to study engineering and geology.
After graduation, Cameron worked for other companies -– non-landscaping companies -– until he realized his interest lay elsewhere. His interest was in the family business, which was equally interested in him. Cameron took to the business like a water feature to water. As Mark quickly realized, Cameron has “the eye” (and also, it must be assumed, the green thumb). Mark has watched proudly as Cameron has excelled in his position and helped expand the business. He has come to rely on Cameron’s outstanding work ethic, his design savvy, his marketing instincts, and his dedication to their clients.
